During an emergency the University operates under the National Incident Management System (NIMS). The Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) establishes the University’s emergency management organization, policies, and response guidelines. To support the management of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) a Tactical Manual has been developed. The EOC Tactical Manual outlines the University’s systematic approach for managing emergencies that may threaten the health and safety of the campus community or disrupt its programs and activities. The manual identifies the departments, units, and individuals directly responsible for emergency response and critical support services and describes their role and responsibilities during a significant emergency.
